Dedicating happiness, and be successful
My esteemed judges, teachers, and dear friends,
Good morning/afternoon, I am ***from ***. The topic of my speech today is “Dedicating happiness, and be successful”!
As to “success” , everyone has their own ideas in mind.  Although to each person, the course and end of success is various, this extremely simple word can nearly represent the most fair, the most warm, the most happy, and the best thing in our heart. Someone say that success means flowers and applause; someone say that success means promise and obligation; someone say that success means struggle and fight; someone say that success means sacrifice and dedication! And I say, success means confidence and happiness!
Mentioning to successful people, the name of “Zhou Xingchi” is well known to every person. However, few people may wonder why he can be so successful.  You may give me the answer of his splendid appearance.  But think about it that which star on the screen is not good-looking?  There is another answer that his acting is extremely good.  Yes, I admit it. But shouldn’t acting be the basic ability of actors and actresses?  From the mainland to Hong Kong and Taiwan, to Hollywood, and to Broadway, stars with fine acting can be found everywhere, why only Zhou Xingchi become so successful that his name has received wide publicity.  Even elderly people watching his movies are so amused that the wrinkles on their face smoothed out like a chrysanthemum blossoming.  The international Master on success encouraging Chen Anzhi once said: “The reason why Zhou Xingchi is successful is that the roles he played can give kind of confidence to the audience.  Almost all the audience feels comfortable, relaxing, superior, and a great sense of accomplishment before the roles Zhou stared.”  Zhou’s roles have given happiness, hope and sense of security to others.  He amused people, and won applause. So he succeeds.
How nice comment! Zhou Xingchi's success is out of his doing a happy cause.  In this cause, he is not only self-confident, but also give confidence to people; He is not only happy himself, but also bring others happiness! It is just because of this self-confidence and happiness, he naturally becomes a success!
Till here, maybe some of you will refute me and say: “Zhou Xingchi has already been a successful man. Why do you still take him as the example?” Then I am presenting you a story of ordinary people.  A girl loves medical science very much, and for her practicing medicine, effecting a miraculous cure, and bringing the dying back to life is the world’s highest and greatest cause! Although her family does not support her option becoming a doctor, she firmly convinced that she would be a very outstanding doctor in the future, and would own the real success in the process curing the sickness and saving the patient!  It was this strong self-confidence so that the family agreed her to be a medicine college student; it was this confidence so that she had always been seeking knowledge of medicine science. School work boring and difficult in others’ eyes became an interest to her.  Learning made her happy, and happy learning brought her success.  Because she believed that a happy cause was waiting for her!  Although she had not become a real doctor by now, she believed herself and also believed that with grasping the superb skills of saving lives, alleviating suffering for patients, bring happiness to patients and their families, success would open the arms and embrace her!
My smart friends, you may have already got that the girl hoping “gifting others happiness and embracing success” is just me!  I do not deny that flowers and applause can represent success; I do not deny that promise and obligation can represent success; I do not deny that struggle and fight can represent success; I do not deny that sacrifice and dedication can also represent success! However, in my mind, only self-confidence and happiness can truly represent success! I believe the happy success is not far waiting for me!
